Craft Class Fabulousness!

Yesterday was an amazing day - I took my first full Crafty Workshop, with the loveliest bunch of ladies, and a creative lot too!
We started the session by decorating a paper bag each - with two patterned squares and a decorated circle with names on, and the challenge was to see what happened when they got a roll of double sided tape too! Challenge accepted - 9 totally different bags to put the crafty makes into!
Then we got on with the class -
It all went SOOOOO quiet once they had watched my demo - half an hour later - this!
A short while later...THIS!

After two directed sessions, where I explained the stages and techniques in cardmaking, we launched into a carousel of stamping activity, with three projects...
Washi tape was a huge hit with everyone - me included. There will be MORE washi tape in my life in the future!
Visible Image butterflies were a HUGE hit, especially the clean and simple style of background stamping and leaving white space. Anyone who knows me and my style will know just how hard that is for me BUT I am getting better at it - leave that white space alone Nicky!!!
Our fabulous party hostess Sarah and her friends showing their creative makes with tapestry stamps, all so beautiful! And glittery!
Well done to everybody, every single card was so beautiful and I was so proud of you all. Looking forward to the next time!

Nicky xx

  1. How lucky are those ladies having you teach them Nicky, I wish I could have been there as well.
